The HKCAAVQ is appointed as the QR (Qualifications Register) Authority under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Cap 592) to maintain the QR – the free web-based database carrying the qualifications recognised under the Qualifications Framework. The HKCAAVQ is appointed as the QR (Qualifications Register) Authority under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Cap 592) to maintain the QR – the free web-based database carrying the qualifications recognised under the Qualifications Framework. Revised Fee Schedule for Accreditation Exercises
The Permanent Secretary for Education has, under delegated authority, approved fee adjustments for accreditation services provided by HKCAAVQ for the coming financial year 2023/24 in accordance with the HKCAAVQ Ordinance (Cap. 1150). The revised fee schedule will be effective for all accreditation exercises with service agreements signed on or after 1 April 2023. The revised fee schedule and its explanatory notes effective as of 1 April 2023 will be found on the HKCAAVQ website.

HKCAAVQ Annual Report 2022/23 published
HKCAAVQ has published its Annual Report for the year 2022/23. The Report, themed “From Quality Enhancement to Excellence – Meeting with New Challenges”, outlines HKCAAVQ’s work and activities, including the Implementation of Strategic Plan and Operational Review, as well as the Financial Report, from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.

The Education Bureau (EDB) promulgated the criteria for qualifying as Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) and eligible self-financing post-secondary institutions may submit applications for review under the criteria.
