OTHER SERVICES

HKCAAVQ’s main role is to safeguard the credibility of qualifications under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) and support the enhancement of the quality of education and training in Hong Kong. HKCAAVQ can provide advisory and consultancy services in Hong Kong and with the approval of the Secretary for Education of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government, quality assurance services outside Hong Kong.

Our Approach

We attach great importance to cultivating mutual understanding with our clients before we prepare a proposal to address their needs and requirements and offer a tailor-made project design and implementation plan to fit the purpose of our clients. The services include a range of activities such as desktop research, focus group meetings, surveys for institutional and programme review.

• Comparative study of veterinary qualifications commissioned by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, the Hong Kong SAR Government
• Benchmarking study for Yi Jin Diploma under the New Senior Secondary academic structure commissioned by the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong SAR Government
• Development of parameters and manuals for the quality assurance framework of higher education in Macao commissioned by the Tertiary Education Services Office (GAES), the Government of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR)
• Development of generic outcomes standards framework for higher education in Macao commissioned by GAES, the Macao SAR Government
