System maintenance for Qualifications Register (QR) website
The Qualifications Register (QR) website (http://www.hkqr.gov.hk) will be undergoing system maintenance on 18 April 2020 from 21:30 to 22:30, and there will be ad hoc suspension of the QR during the maintenance period. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The HKCAAVQ is appointed as the QR (Qualifications Register) Authority under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Cap 592) to maintain the QR – the free web-based database carrying the qualifications recognised under the Qualifications Framework. HKCAAVQ Council Chairman Ir Dr Alex Chan re-appointed by HKSAR Government as member of the Human Resources Planning Commission (HRPC)
The Hong Kong SAR Government announced on 27 March 2020 the re-appointment of 18 incumbent members and the appointment of three new members of the Human Resources Planning Commission (HRPC) with effect from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022. Ir Dr Alex Chan, in the capacity of the Council Chairman of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), was re-appointed for the two-year term.
The HRPC was established on April 1, 2018, to consolidate resources and efforts of the Government and various sectors to examine, review and coordinate policies and measures on human resources in a holistic manner.

HKCAAVQ Annual Report 2018/19 published
HKCAAVQ has published its Annual Report for year 2018/19. The Report, themed “Making Impact In a New Era of Quality Assurance”, has outlined the HKCAAVQ’s work and activities including highlights of the year and operational review of various services of HKCAAVQ, as well as the Financial Report, from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.
The digital version of the Annual Report is now available on HKCAAVQ website.

Revised Fee Schedule for Qualifications Assessment
In accordance with Section 13(2) of the HKCAAVQ Ordinance (Cap. 1150), the Permanent Secretary for Education has, under delegated authority, approved a fee adjustment for qualifications assessment services provided by HKCAAVQ for the coming financial year 2020/21.
From 1 April 2020, the fee for qualifications assessment for different purposes will be adjusted as follows:
For Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS) purpose: HK$3,365 (US$435)
For teacher registration purpose: HK$3,130
For general purpose: HK$2,835

Revised Fee Schedule for Accreditation Exercises
In accordance with Section 13(2) of the HKCAAVQ Ordinance (Cap. 1150), the Permanent Secretary for Education has, under delegated authority, approved a fee adjustment for accreditation services provided by HKCAAVQ for the coming financial year 2020/21. The revised fee schedule will be effective for all accreditation exercises with service agreements signed on or after 1 April 2020. The revised fee schedule and its explanatory notes effective as of 1 April 2020 can be found in the HKCAAVQ website.
