Qualifications Register Facts and Figures for May 2024
The HKCAAVQ is appointed as the QR (Qualifications Register) Authority under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Cap 592) to maintain the QR – the free web-based database carrying the qualifications recognised under the Qualifications Framework. Revised Fee Schedule for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Activities
As the appointed Assessment Authority by the Insurance Authority, the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) is pleased to offer assessment and vetting services for CPD activities. To ensure that we are able to continue to provide high-quality services, the fee for the assessment of CPD activities will increase 2.1%, taking effect from 1 June 2024. The revised fee schedule will be found in relevant Guidance Notes on the HKCAAVQ website after the effective date.

Revised Fee Schedule for Accreditation Exercises
The Permanent Secretary for Education has, under delegated authority, approved fee adjustments for accreditation services provided by HKCAAVQ for the coming financial year 2024/25 in accordance with the HKCAAVQ Ordinance (Cap. 1150). The revised fee schedule will be effective for all accreditation exercises with service agreements signed on or after 1 April 2024. The revised fee schedule and its explanatory notes effective as of 1 April 2024 will be found on the HKCAAVQ website.

HKCAAVQ Annual Report 2022/23 published
HKCAAVQ has published its Annual Report for the year 2022/23. The Report, themed “From Quality Enhancement to Excellence – Meeting with New Challenges”, outlines HKCAAVQ’s work and activities, including the Implementation of Strategic Plan and Operational Review, as well as the Financial Report, from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.
