The second HKCAAVQ Roundtable of the year was successfully held on 18 May 2026. The event was attended by representatives from the Education Bureau and the Qualifications Framework Secretariat, as well as Council Members and professional staff of HKCAAVQ.
This Roundtable session featured three former Student Panel Members – Mr Moe Chan, Miss Sarah Ip and Miss Katie Leung – who had participated in the Learning Programme Accreditation and Learning Programme Re-accreditation exercises. They shared their valuable experiences and insights, with Ms Winnie Choy, Senior Registrar, Development of HKCAAVQ, serving as the moderator. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, during which the former Student Panel Members responded to participants’ questions and shared their opinions on the quality assurance in the higher education sector, creating a fruitful platform for dialogue.
Student engagement has been a key element in HKCAAVQ’s academic accreditation. To further enhance its effectiveness, the HKCAAVQ Pilot Study on Student Engagement 2025/26 was initiated to promote greater student involvement in quality assurance processes in the local higher education sector.
