As its vision, HKCAAVQ aims to be a nationally and globally ൙ᄲ҅ٙᗴ౻݊ߧɢϓމΌ਷ၾ˰ޢʮ
recognised independent quality assurance body in education and Ⴉٙ઺ԃձ੃৅ޢйٙዹͭሯ९ڭᗇዚ
training. Following this vision, HKCAAVQ developed the “Professional ࿴f፭ృவࡈᗴ౻d൙ᄲ҅ක፬ə˜ሯ९
Training Workshop in Quality Assurance” to share its 29 years’ ڭᗇਖ਼ุ੃৅ʈЪѥ™˸ʱԮՉ29ϋԸ
experience in quality assurance and accreditation, as well as creating ٙሯ९ڭᗇձ൙ᄲ຾᜕dԨމ੽ԫሯ९
an exchange platform for quality assurance practitioners and ڭᗇٙɛࡰձਖ਼ุɛɻܔͭʹݴ̨̻f
professionals.

After the successful launch in March 2018 with participants from ׵2018ϋ3˜d൙ᄲ҅ϓ̌ᑘ፬࠯֣ʈ
Australia, Mauritius, Oman and Singapore, the second offer of the ЪѥdіˏԸІዦݲeˣԢ໿౶eڛਟձ
workshop in March 2019 has again seen a strong demand with a อ̋սٙɛࡰਞၾf୤ϋ3˜d͉҅Ύϓ
good mix of local and international participants. 33 quality assurance ̌ᑘ፬əୋɚ֣ʈЪѥd΍Ϟ33ΤԸІ
practitioners and professionals from Australia, Japan, the Philippines, ዦݲe˚͉eിܛႷeዦژήਜձ͉ήٙ
and Macao attended the workshop in this reporting period. The ሯ९ڭᗇ੽ุࡰձਖ਼ุɛɻਞၾdΎɓ
continued success of this event demonstrates the highly recognised ϣˀ݈͉ήձ਷ყග࿁ʈЪѥٙ੶डც
standing of HKCAAVQ in quality assurance and accreditation in ӋfϤʈЪѥΎϣ՟੻ϓ̌dʔШ࢝ͪ
the region, as well as its commitment to professionalisation of this ə൙ᄲ҅ίሯ९ڭᗇձ൙ᄲ˙ࠦdί਷

The workshop will be offered regularly to meet the increasingly diverse ΪϤd൙ᄲ҅ਗ਼ึᘱᚃ֛ಂක፬ϤʈЪ
and evolving needs of operators, specialists and quality assurance ѥd˸ৣΥᐄ፬٫eਖ਼࢕ʿ΢ήሯ९ڭ

Appointment and Engagement of Specialists ਖ਼࢕։΂ʿਞၾ

Peer review is one of the guiding principles of HKCAAVQ and is at the ΝБ൙П݊൙ᄲ҅ሯ९ڭᗇ೻ҏٙࣨ
heart of our accreditation process. Under this principle, HKCAAVQ ːdΝࣛ͵ܸ݊ኬࡡۆʘɓfΪϤd൙ᄲ
maintains a pool of specialists to support its accreditation and ҅ɓٜၪܵɓࡈਖ਼࢕ࢫd˸˕౪൙ᄲʿ
assessment services. ൙ࣨ؂ਕf

At the end of the reporting period, 717 specialists were listed in the ࿚Їజѓಂ͋dਖ਼࢕Τ̅ʫ΍Ϟ717Τ
Specialists Register, with the overall utilisation rate of specialists at ਖ਼࢕fਞၾ൙ᄲʿ൙ࣨ؂ਕٙਖ਼࢕ˢଟ
84%. To meet the business development needs, we will continue to ༺84%fމৣΥุਕ೯࢝ცࠅd൙ᄲ҅
identify prospective Specialists from our established networks locally ਗ਼ᘱᚃ੽ʊܔ͉ͭٙήʿ਷ყၣഖҬర
