               on qualifications frameworks                               ݖ࿴޶ج


               HKCAAVQ Council  Member  Professor James  Calleja, also the   Ԓࡒ৵ဧ˼ɛ˖߅Ҧኪ৫৫ڗٙ൙ᄲ҅
               Principal and CEO of Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology,   ɽึڢ͉ήϓࡰJames Calleja઺બd׵
               delivered a presentation titled  “The Link Between Qualifications   2018ϋ5˜23˚ί൙ᄲ҅।ࣣஈމ෥ࣲ
               Framework and Validation Arrangements” at a roundtable session   ึᙄዄ΂˴ᑺྗႷfึɪ˼ఱ༟ዝݖ࿴
               which took place at HKCAAVQ office on 23 May 2018.          ၾሙ೻Ϟࣖ׌ʿτરٙᙄᕚආБစႭf


               During the session, Prof Calleja shared his insights into the   ί෥ࣲึᙄ຅ʕdCalleja઺બఱڢ͍஝
               fundamental values of  informal learning,  challenges in validation   ኪ୦eሙ೻Ϟࣖ׌ʿτરe˸ʿၾ͍஝
               arrangements and the different evidence requirements in the validation   ձڢ͍஝ሙ೻Ϟࣖ׌ϞᗫٙࠅӋഃ˙
               of formal and informal learning, as well as giving examples of   ࠦЪ̈ʱԮd˼͵ίึɪʱԮ໧ൃ˫e
               validation arrangements from Portugal, Italy, France and Iceland.  จɽлeج਷ձΏࢥί޴ᗫᙄᕚɪٙʈ

               The minds opening presentation was attended by HKCAAVQ Council   ৰə൙ᄲ҅ɽึϓࡰʿࡰʈ̮d༟ዝݖ
               Members,  representatives  from  the  Qualifications  Frameworks   ࿴।ࣣஈ͵Ϟݼࡰ̈ࢩ݊ϣึᙄd˸ಂ
               Secretariat and HKCAAVQ colleagues, who have keen interest in how   һଉɝə༆͍஝ձڢ͍஝ሙ೻ίՉ˼ή
               formal and informal learning take place in other jurisdictions and their   ਜٙྼБձႩᗇʈЪfၡᎇՉܝٙਪഈ
               recognition mechanisms. The presentation of Professor Calleja was   ᐑືd͵౤Զ̨̻ʚʔˇၾึ٫ၾڢ͉
               followed by an Q&A session which also aroused much attention and   ήɽึϓࡰʝ޴ʹݴeʹ౬จԈf
               discussions among the participants.
