               Student Liaison Meetings                                   ኪ͛ᑌഖʃଡ଼ึᙄ


               Similar to previous year’s practice, HKCAAVQ invited accredited   ɓν˸ֻd൙ᄲ҅ᒗሗʊᐏ൙ᄲ༟ࣸٙ
               higher education institutions to nominate up to two representatives   ৷ഃ઺ԃ৫ࣧ౤Τ௰εՇΤኪ͛˾ڌd
               from their student body to participate in HKCAAVQ’s student liaison   ਞ̋൙ᄲ҅ٙኪ͛ᑌഖʃଡ଼ึᙄf൙ᄲ
               meetings. Four meetings were held on 27 October 2017, 16 March, 6   ҅ʱй׵2017ϋ10˜27˚e2018ϋ3˜
               July and 14 December 2018 with the participation of over 20 student   16˚e7˜6˚ʿ12˜14˚̜කə̬ϣ
               representatives from more than 12 self-financing institutions in each   ˜ኪ͛ᑌഖʃଡ଼ึᙄ™fӊϣึᙄѩϞԸ
               meeting.  In the meetings,  HKCAAVQ introduced its services, Four-  Іε׵12ග৫ࣧٙ20Τኪ͛˾ڌ̈ࢩf
               Stage QA Process, accreditation criteria and details of the process of   ίึᙄʕd൙ᄲ҅Σኪ͛ʧୗə͉҅ٙ
               accreditation, and explored ways in which students may provide input   ؂ਕe̬චݬሯ९ڭᗇ೻ҏe൙ᄲ๟ۆ
               to HKCAAVQ’s quality assurance process.                     ˸ʿ൙ᄲཀ೻fΝࣛdᕐ˙͵ઞীəኪ

               To bring in an international perspective to student engagement,   މ੭Ը਷ყൖԉd൙ᄲ҅ᒗሗəዦݲ
               HKCAAVQ invited Dr Sadie Heckenberg, President of the National   ٙDr Sadie Heckenberg௹ɻ€National
               Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Postgraduate Association in   Aboriginal  and  Torres Strait Islander
               Australia  to  participate  in  the  December  2018  meeting,  via  Skype.   Postgraduate Associationึڗ ዄ΂܄
               She shared with students the importance of the student voice and her   ࢩᑺ٫dஷཀൖ྅ึᙄdʱԮኪ͛ᑊࠪ
               valuable experience in quality assurance engagement in Australia.  ٙࠠࠅ׌ʿϞᗫμਞၾሯ९ڭᗇٙ຾

               Looking ahead, HKCAAVQ would continue to organise various   ࢝ૐਗ਼Ըd൙ᄲ҅ਗ਼ᘱᚃމኪ͛ᑘ፬΢
               activities for students to broaden their knowledge and understanding   ၇ݺਗd˸ᓒᒪ˼ࡁ࿁৷ഃ઺ԃሯ९ڭ
               of the QA process of higher education. Activities in the pipeline   ᗇཀ೻ٙႩᗆձଣ༆fݺਗܼ̍ਖ਼ᕚ޼
               include thematic workshops,  “Dialogue with HKCAAVQ Specialist”,   ীึe˜ၾ൙ᄲ҅ਖ਼࢕࿁༑™d˸ʿ౼ಂ
               and summer internships that will provide an opportunity for students   ྼ୦dᜫኪ͛Ϟዚึٜટટᙃ൙ᄲ҅ٙ
               to gain direct exposure to the work of HKCAAVQ. HKCAAVQ is   ʈЪf൙ᄲ҅ߧɢ׵౤Զɓࡈіˏኪ͛
               committed to providing a platform to engage students and enhance   Ԩ౤৷˼ࡁٙሯ९ڭᗇٝᗆ̨̻ٙf
               their quality assurance knowledge.
