We are living in an era of constant change and innovation. New ideas ҢࡁତʦஈԒ׵ᐛࢹຬᜊձ௴อٙࣛ
and attempts to offer solutions emerge every day. Education, as a ˾dอܠၪձ௴อྒྷ༊ӊ˂ʔᓙಪତf
means for cultivating values and attaining competence, plays a pivotal ೌሞί੃ቮᄆ࠽ᝈձܔͭࡈɛঐɢd˸
role in shaping the future talents and leaders. As a quality assurance Їί෧ி͊Ըٟึਖ਼ʑձჯங˙ࠦd઺
agency, the decisions we make and the work we do have a direct ԃѩዄ຅ڢ੬ࠠࠅٙԉЍfމᆽڭ઺ԃ
bearing to the interest of learners and the community at large. In the ሯ९d൙ᄲ҅Ъމሯ९ڭᗇዚ࿴dҢࡁ
days to come, HKCAAVQ would continue to engage and work with ٙʈЪձ൙֛ˈՉᅂᚤଉჃdၾɓ଺ኪ
our strategic partners and quality assurance counterparts, local and ࡰ˸Їٟึ዆᜗ٙлूdѩࢹࢹ޴ᗫf
overseas, in performing our roles amid the changing needs of the ࢝ૐਗ਼Ըd൙ᄲ҅ਗ਼ᘱᚃၾ͉ήʿ˰ޢ
education and training sector. ΢ήٙഄଫྫМd˸ʿሯ९ڭᗇዚ࿴d
ڭܵၡ੗ᑌᖩd΍ΝрɢdቇࣛΫᏐ઺

Looking ahead, we have updated our Vision and Mission statement Ңࡁତʊһอə൙ᄲ҅ٙᗴ౻ʿԴնd
in adherence to our latest commitment to high quality service, growth ˸ˀ݈൙ᄲ҅࿁౤Զ৷ሯ९؂ਕeܵᚃ
and innovation. On 1 October 2019, the new Strategic Plan for 2019- ೯࢝ձ௴อٙוፕf൙ᄲ҅͵׵2019ϋ
2023 was released which serves to guide the future direction for 10˜1˚dʮбə2019-2023ϋܓٙഄଫ
the development of HKCAAVQ. In the context of this Strategic Plan, ೯࢝ࠇྌdʵྌ͉̈҅͊Ը̬ϋٙ˴ࠅ
we aim to put more emphasis on supporting the pursuit of quality ഄଫ˙Σfவഄଫ೯࢝ࠇྌீͪҢࡁਗ਼
enhancement and excellence by our operators, through developing ޼Ӻһεણ݄ʿ؂ਕd˸˕ܵʿપਗᐄ
more initiatives and measures that could benefit the education and ፬٫ܵᚃ౤ʺձᎴʷՉሙ೻ሯ९dމ͉
training in Hong Kong. ಥٙ઺ԃձ੃৅ޢй੭ԸڗჃࣖूf

If alone we are but one drop; together we are an ocean. We are ဈ˥ϓئdɷݴɝऎfཀ̘̬ϋdҢɤ
grateful for having our Council Members, who come from a range of ʱᅅֱၾԸІʔΝਖ਼ุٙϓࡰ΍ԫd
professions and bring in their wisdom and expertise, with a desire ኯᔟ˼ࡁٙ౽ᅆe຾᜕e˸ʿ؂ਕձ্
to serve and contribute to the Hong Kong community. I would like ᘠ࠰ಥٟึٙːd൙ᄲ҅ɪɨΝʠᐏू
to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to my fellow ԄεfίϤҢชᑽ΢ϓࡰٙೌӷւᘠf
Council Members, who are always supportive, for their dedicated Ң͵ซᔟϤዚึdชᑽ΢ޢܵ΅٫d̍
service over the past year. My heartfelt gratitude also goes to our wide ܼ઺ԃ҅ʿՉ˼ִ݁௅ژe˰ޢ΢ήٙ
spectrum of stakeholders, including the Education Bureau and other ሯ९ڭᗇ͹Мe൙ᄲ҅ਖ਼࢕˸ʿ΢ᐄ፬
government departments, sister quality assurance agencies across ٫fઆࡁ࿁൙ᄲ҅ٙ˕ܵdˈՉࠠࠅf
the globe, specialists as well as operators. Your relentless support is ൙ᄲ҅ձ΢ܵ΅٫הܔͭٙၡ੗ΥЪᗫ
crucial to us. With the close collaboration and strong partnership, we ڷdϞп൙ᄲ҅ٙሯ९ڭᗇʈЪdᆽڭ
are confident that we could make many contributions that benefit the ৷ሯ९઺ԃձ੃৅dމ଺εኪࡰ੭ԸႢ
vast learners. I would also like to extend my appreciation to all our ूf̤̮dҢ͵ίϤชᑽ।ࣣஈɓ଺Ν
staff members at the Secretariat, who have all been diligently working ԫdɽ࢕ཀ̘ɓϋрɢʔ኶ٙʈЪdᜫ
and supporting the operations and development of HKCAAVQ. ൙ᄲ҅੻˸ᘱᚃᖢ਄೯࢝dɢӋආӉf
We will soon be celebrating our 30 years of success and ࣛΈদ߳dҢࡁуਗ਼ᅅज़൙ᄲ҅ϓͭ
accomplishments in 2020. As we continue our work with our head up ɧɤ༱fኯᔟ΢Зٙ˕ܵdҢࡁਗ਼ᘱᚃ
