HKCAAVQ attended the Going Global annual conference on 2-4 ˸˜஫߈Όଢdᅂᚤٟึ™މ˴ᕚٙ
May 2018. The theme of the conference was “Global connections, Going Globalึᙄ2018׵2018ϋ5˜2Ї
local impact: Creating 21st century skills, knowledge and impact for 4˚ᑘБf൙ᄲ҅൙ᄲ˴΂ੰᅅୂ௹ɻ
society-wide good”. Dr Joe Hong, Registrar of HKCAAVQ was invited ᐏᒗ׵ሞእʕٙʃଡ଼ึᙄɪdʱԮՉၣ
to share experiences on accreditation of online learning programmes ɪሙ೻൙ᄲٙจԈʿ຾᜕f
in the Panel session – TNE quality assurance: a collaborative
approach.

Panelists from agencies and institutions in four countries/regions ԸІ̬ࡈ਷࢕Ŋήਜٙዚ࿴ʃଡ଼ϓࡰ͵
explored how the rapid development of online education has brought ઞীəၣɪ઺ԃٙܢ஺೯࢝νОމዚ࿴
about challenges and opportunities for both institutions and quality ձሯඎڭᗇዚ࿴੭Ըܿ኷ձዚ༾d˸ʿ
assurance agencies and how these issues were being addressed νОஷཀΥЪ༆ӔவԬਪᕚf൙ᄲ҅ʱ
through collaborative arrangements. HKCAAVQ’s development of its ԮՉၣɪሙ೻൙ᄲٙ೯࢝dԨᐏ੻ၾึ
approach to online learning programme accreditation was presented ٫͍ٙࠦ൙ᄆf
and well received by the audience at the Panel session.
