HKCAAVQ pays courtesy visit to QA ൙ᄲ҅˾ڌྠࠌԯආБʹݴ
agencies and education institution in Beijing

Led by Executive Director Mr Albert Chow, HKCAAVQ’s delegation ͟൙ᄲ҅ᐼ฀ԫմᅅԞ΋͛ଟჯٙ˾ڌ
conducted a 2-day duty visit from 7-8 March 2019, at Beijing to meet ྠd׵ʦϋ3˜7-8˚ۃֻ̏ԯdၾ઺ԃ
with education and training organisations, quality assurance agency ੃৅ዚ࿴eሯ९ڭᗇዚ࿴ʿִ݁௅ژึ
and relevant government department, to exchange ideas and share ࠦdఱ৷ഃ઺ԃሯ९ڭᗇeڢ͉ήሙ೻
experience in terms of quality assurance in the higher education sec ʿኪዝႩᗇʈЪഃආБʹݴձ຾᜕ʱ
tor, non-local courses and qualifications assessment. Ԯf
During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of the China ಂගd൙ᄲ҅˾ڌྠၾ઺ԃ௅ኪЗၾ޼
Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center Ӻ͛઺ԃ೯࢝ʕː(CDGDC)˾ڌึࠦd
(CDGDC). Dr Huang Bao Yin, Director of the Centre, introduced future ึɪ઺ԃ௅ኪЗၾ޼Ӻ͛઺ԃ೯࢝ʕː
development plans of the centre and gave an overview on the latest ˴΂රᘒΙ΋͛ৰʧୗʕːٙ͊ԸʈЪ
policies and developments of higher education in mainland China. ࠇྌ̮d͵ᙕࠑə਷ʫ৷ഃ઺ԃٙ௰อ
Both parties also touch-based on possible collaborations in areas of ݁ഄձ೯࢝˙ΣdԨၾ൙ᄲ҅ਠሔίᕐ
mutual interest, including the composition of international experts, ˙΍Νᗫːٙԫධɪක࢝ΥЪࠇྌd̍
staff exchange, engaging in quality assurance work and long-term ܼ਷ყਖ਼࢕ྠඟٙଡ଼ܔeᕐ˙ዚ࿴ʝ޴
strategic collaboration projects. ݼࡰʹݴኪ୦ձਞၾ࿁˙ٙሯ९ڭᗇʈ

HKCAAVQ also met with representatives of the Chinese Service ൙ᄲ҅˾ڌྠՉܝၾʕ਷वኪ؂ਕʕː
Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), in which both parties had (CSCSE)˾ڌආБึሔdࢩගᕐ˙ఱኪ
thorough discussions and exchange of ideas in terms of qualifications ዝႩᗇʈЪආБଉܓʹݴeʱԮྼਕ຾
assessment, sharing of practical experiences and professional ᜕ձਖ਼ุჯਹڦࢹfਿ׵ʝлʝ౉ٙࡡ
knowledge. On the basis of mutual benefit, both parties also ۆdᕐ˙ίึሔʕd͵ਠী˚ܝኪዝႩ
discussed on topics including collaborations in terms of qualifications ᗇ˙ࠦٙΥЪձ޴ᗫ޼Ӻഃτરdܼ̍
assessment and joint projects, including knowledge transfer and staff ڦࢹʝ౬ʿɛࡰʝஞഃf
exchange, in the future.
Apart from visiting the above organisations, the delegation also ৰึԈɪࠑዚ࿴̮d൙ᄲ҅˾ڌྠ͵ᔟ
visited the regulatory body of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running Ϥዚึܰஞ઺ԃ௅਷ყΥЪၾʹݴ̡ऒ
schools, as well as Sino-French Engineer School, Beihang University, ̮፬ኪஈd˸ʿ̏ԯঘ٤ঘ˂ɽኪʕج
to understand more about development opportunities and possible ʈ೻ࢪኪ৫d੽Ͼə༆ʕ̮ΥЪ፬ኪٙ
challenges regarding collaboration of courses between China and ೯࢝ዚ༾ʿ͊Ըܿ኷f
overseas.
