for Agencies Preparing for an Initial External ᑺࢭ

In line with the Education Bureau’s initiative of benchmarking މৣΥ઺ԃ҅ᗫ׵ˢ࿁࠰ಥ༟ዝݖ࿴ၾ
the HKQF with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), ᆄݲ༟ዝݖ࿴ਿ๟ٙણ݄d൙ᄲ҅ɓٜ
HKCAAVQ has been exploring the possibility of undergoing agency ޼ઞீཀၾᆄݲ৷ഃ઺ԃۜሯڭᗇ՘ึ
review by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher (ENQA)˸Չ׵ᆄݲ৷ഃ઺ԃਜ(ESG)ٙ
Education (ENQA) against its Standards and Guidelines for Quality ሯ९ڭᗇᅺ๟ʿܸˏЪˢ࿁ԸආБ̮௅
Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). We ൙ᄲ̙ٙБ׌fҢࡁ࢝ૐආБᆄݲ৷ഃ
envisage that undergoing an ENQA agency review would be another ઺ԃۜሯڭᗇ՘ึʘዚ࿴൙ᄲdਗ਼ึ݊
fruitful experience for HKCAAVQ after the 2015 external review by ൙ᄲ҅ᘱ2015ϋ৷ഃ઺ԃሯ९ڭᗇዚ࿴

In September 2018, HKCAAVQ representatives participated in an ൙ᄲ҅˾ڌ׵2018ϋ9˜ਞ̋ᆄݲ৷ഃ
ENQA seminar held in Riga, Latvia, for QA agencies to understand the ઺ԃۜሯڭᗇ՘ึ׵ז୭ၪԭԢ̋ᑘБ
ENQA review requirements and process. At the seminar, participants ʘᑺࢭd˸ආɓӉə༆༈՘ึϞᗫ̮൙
were briefed the purpose and objectives of the review process and ٙࠅӋʿ೻ҏfᑺࢭ଄ႊ͟๟௪Ї༧ආ
introduced the best practices relating to self-assessment process චݬٙ዆᜗̮൙೻ҏfਞ̋٫ৰ̋ଉ࿁
and how the ENQA agency review could assist future planning ̮൙ͦٙʿͦᅺʘԈ༆d͵ఱϞᗫІҢ
and development of a QA agency. The seminar also provided an ൙Пཀ೻ʕٙԄλЪุᅼόආБীሞd
opportunity for participants to learn from the agencies’ representatives ʿ޼ӺνОҪ̮൙މሯ९ڭᗇዚ࿴ਗ਼Ը
that underwent an ENQA agency review. ٙࠇྌၾ೯࢝੭ԸʘूஈᓒЇ௰ɽfீ
