               Accreditation of SCS-based                                  ঐɢᅺ๟Ⴍ׼‘މ͉ሙ
               programmes                                                  ೻൙ᄲ


               Since  the launch  of  the  QF  in 2008, the  Education Bureau  (EDB)   ༟ዝݖ࿴І2008ϋપ̈˸Ըd઺ԃ҅Ї
               has been forming Industry Training Advisory Committees (ITACs)/  ʦϓͭ22ࡈБุ੃৅ፔ༔։ࡰึŊ༨Б
               Cross-Industry Training Advisory Committee (CITAC) for various   ุ੃৅ፔ༔։ࡰึdԨމவԬБุՓࠈ
               industries with a view to developing industry-based Specifications   ঐɢᅺ๟Ⴍ׼‘ʿঐɢᅺ๟Ⴍ׼‘
               of Competency Standards (SCS) and SCS-based Training        މ͉઺ҿࢁ€઺ҿࢁf൳Ը൳εᐄ፬
               Packages(Training Packages). As at March 2019, 22 ITACs including   ٫મ͜޴ᗫБุʘঐɢఊʩdՓ֛ঐ
               one CITAC were formed. An increasing number of operators have   ɢᅺ๟Ⴍ׼‘މ͉ሙ೻€˜ঐɢމ͉™ሙ
               developed SCS-based programmes by adopting the relevant Units of   ೻f
               Competencies (UoCs) specified in the SCS.

               During the reporting period, HKCAAVQ accredited 89 SCS-based   ίజѓಂʫd൙ᄲ҅މ89ࡈ˜ঐɢމ͉™
               programmes for 11 industries. In view of increasing demand on   ሙ೻ආБə൙ᄲdሙ೻ʱйԸІ11ࡈʔ
               elderly care service and the launch of the subsidy scheme for training   ΝБุfΪᏐٟึ࿁τϼ؂ਕٙცӋ˚
               by the Social Welfare Department (SWD), the number of SCS-based   ᄣʿٟึ၅л໇પ̈ٙ੃৅༟пࠇྌd
               programmes is doubled in the Elderly  Care Service Industry  when   τϼ؂ਕุٙ˜ঐɢމ͉™ሙ೻ˢ̘ϋ
               compared with the last year.                                ɪʺəɓ࠴f


               For meeting the new arrangement of Quality Assurance System for   Ϥ̮dމୌΥڭτʿᚐ㠛ุ၍ଣ։ࡰึ
               Recognition Scheme of Security Training Courses (QASRS) by the   Ϟᗫ˜ڭτ੃৅ሙ೻Ⴉ̙ࠇྌሯ९ڭ
               Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA), a total   ᗇӻ୕™(QASRS)ٙอτરd΍Ϟ22ࡈ
               of 22 SCS-based programmes in the Security Services Industry had   ڭτ؂ਕุٙ˜ঐɢމ͉™ሙ೻͡ሗ൙
               sought HKCAAVQ’s accreditation during the reporting period.  ᄲf

               As at March 2019, a total of 379 SCS-based programmes (QF Levels   ࿚Ї2019ϋ3˜މ˟d༟ዝΤ̅΍༱Ϟ
