In June 2002, the Government set up the Continuing Education Fund ִ݁׵2002ϋ6˜ϓͭܵᚃආࡌਿږd
(CEF) to encourage adults to pursue further education by providing ஷཀ౤Զܵᚃ઺ԃձ੃৅༟пdོᎸϓ
them with subsidies for continuing education and training, with a view ϋɛܵᚃආࡌd˸ڮආ࠰ಥᔷۨЇٝᗆ
to facilitating Hong Kong’s transition to a knowledge-based economy ۨ຾᏶ʿᏐ࿁˚ᒈΌଢʷٙ຾᏶f
and adaptation to an increasingly globalised world.

From February 2018 to April 2019, HKCAAVQ was commissioned ͟2018ϋ2˜Ї2019ϋ4˜d௶ʈʿ၅л
by LWB to provide consultancy services to the LWB and Office ҅։ৄ൙ᄲ҅މ҅˙ʿܵᚃආࡌਿږ፬
of Continuing Education Fund for the development of a range of ԫஈ౤Զᚥਪ؂ਕd˸೯࢝І2019ϋ4
enhancement measures applicable to all CEF courses from 1 April ˜1˚ৎቇ͜׵הϞ̙ᐏ೯ᒔಛධሙ೻
2019. Details of the enhancement measures have been provided ٙɓӻΐᎴʷણ݄fܵᚃආࡌਿږ੃৅
to the CEF providers and announced on the website of Office of ዚ࿴ʊᐏ՟ϞᗫᎴʷણ݄ٙ༉ઋd͵ʊ
