                    been recognised.


                    In respect of AFS equity investments, impairment losses    ̙Զ̈ਯٰ͉ᗇՎʘۃʊ׵ฦू
                    previously recognised in profit or loss are not reversed through   ʕᆽႩٙಯ࠽ฦ̰ʔึீཀฦू
                    profit or loss. Any increase in fair value subsequent to an   ᅡΫf׵ಯ࠽ฦ̰̈ତܝٙ΂Оʮ
                    impairment loss is recognised in other comprehensive income   ʪᄆ࠽ᄣ̋dਗ਼׵Չ˼Όࠦϗूʕ
                    and accumulated under the heading of investment revaluation   ᆽႩdԨ׵ҳ༟ࠠПᎷ௪ʕଢ଼ࠇf
                    reserve.

                    Financial liabilities and equity instruments               ږፄࠋවʿᛆूʈՈ

                    Debt and equity instruments issued by the Council are classified   ͉҅೯БٙවਕʿᛆूʈՈɗ࣬
                    as either financial liabilities or as equity in accordance with the   ኽהࠈͭٙΥߒτરٙʫ࢙˸ʿ
                    substance of the contractual arrangements and the definitions   ږፄࠋවʿᛆूʈՈ່֛ٙϾʱ
                    of a financial liability and an equity instrument.         ᗳމږፄࠋවאᛆूf

                    Equity instruments                                         ᛆूʈՈ


                    An equity instrument is any contract that evidences a residual   ᛆूʈՈމᗇ׼׵͉҅຾ϔৰՉ
                    interest in the assets of the Council after deducting all of   הϞࠋවܝٙ༟ପʕה௵ቱᛆू
                    its  liabilities.  Equity instruments  issued by  the Council are   ٙ΂ОΥߒf͉҅೯БٙᛆूʈՈ
                    recognised at the proceeds received, net of direct issue costs.  ܲʊϗה੻ಛධϔৰٜટ೯Бϓ
