The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) is a statutory body responsible for quality assurance of academic and vocational qualifications to underpin the Qualifications Framework (QF).  HKCAAVQ offers a professional career in quality assurance, excellent exposure to local and international education, and challenging development opportunities to outstanding candidates.  Applications are invited for the following position:

Assistant Executive Manager
(Accounting and Administration)

Responsibilities:

The appointee will be responsible for general accounting matters, including preparation of budgets and estimates; monitoring of all aspects of settlements; administration of payroll, MPF, compensation and benefits; monitoring of month-end processes and adjustments; management of the HKCAAVQ’s fund and investment; preparation and analysis of management reports and cash flow statements; preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors; monitoring and maintenance of the accounting system and confidential records.  He/She will assist in reviewing work processes, formulating templates and work procedures, as well as be involved in human resources activities and general office administration.

Requirements:

Applicants should possess a university degree in Accounting comparable to HKQF Level 5, relevant professional qualifications and at least 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in the education sector or professional bodies.  Hands-on experience in SunAccount is a definite advantage.  We are looking for a responsible and self-motivated person who has good attention to detail and a strong analytical mind; good organization, communication and interpersonal skills; high proficiency in MS Excel; good written and spoken English and Chinese.  Being an effective team player as well as able to work independently is essential.  Ability to speak Putonghua is an advantage.
