HKCAAVQ renews Memorandum of Understanding with Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)

HKCAAVQ is pleased to announce the renewal of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).

The re-signing ceremony took place at the Central Government Offices of Hong Kong SAR on 18 September 2018 and was officiated by Dr Padraig Walsh, Chief Executive of QQI, and Mr Albert Chow, Executive Director of HKCAAVQ. Mr David Costello, Consul-General of the Irish Consulate in Hong Kong, Mr Rex Chang, Deputy Secretary for Education of the Education Bureau, and Council Chair and Members of HKCAAVQ jointly witnessed the signing of the MoU. 

HKCAAVQ has been collaborating with QQI in the field of quality assurance and sharing of good practices from both jurisdictions, and the previous years of success in the exchange of experience and new ideas have also proven the importance of continued engagement and collaboration. Having similar missions and institutional objectives in the enhancement of quality assurance of higher education and vocational education and training, both agencies vow to foster an even closer relationship by renewing the MoU, for the purpose of creating cooperative and collaborative mechanisms for the mutual benefit of both parties.
