Dr. Alan Wu has a BSc (Hons) in Physics and a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.  He has more than 20 years of experience of in education and training, obtained from working in England, Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong.  He is currently Head and Senior Registrar of Research and Training at the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), and previously served Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) in Australia as Director of Regulatory Risk and Analytics.  His main research interests include data/learning analytics, academic quality assurance and workflow management.

Professor Grahame T BILBOW
Director of Centre of the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, 
Acting Director of the E-learning Pedagogical Support Unit,
The University of Hong Kong

From 2008 to 2011, Professor Bilbow served as First Secretary for Education at the British Embassy and the British Council's Director of English China, in Beijing, China. In late-2011, Professor Bilbow joined the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in the UK as Assistant Director, responsible for the Arts and Humanities.

Since May 2013, Professor Bilbow has been Director of The University of Hong Kong's Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL).  Professor Bilbow was recently awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, in recognition of his contribution to international strategic leadership in teaching and learning. 

In more recent years, Grahame’s interests have increasingly turned to the quest for quality in teaching and learning in higher education internationally. 

Mr. Anthony CHAN
Former Project Coordinator (Further Education),
Education Bureau, Hong Kong

Mr. Chan has a long service with the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and has served in a number of education-related policy bureau and professional organisations, including the Education Bureau, the University Grants Committee, and the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.  He joined the Vocational Training Council in 2009, and was responsible for the strategic planning and development of vocational education and training in Hong Kong. 

He has worked with the Education Bureau and the Qualifications Framework Secretariat since 2004 on the establishment of the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) and a number of projects for its development and implementation in Hong Kong, in particular, projects relating to the introduction of QF credit and formulation of the policy and guidelines for credit accumulation and transfer.  Mr. Chan was a member of the Local Expert Group overseeing the Comparability Study of HKQF and European QF.     Mr. Chan is also familiar with the quality assurance system underpinning the HKQF.

Dr Eva Y. W. WONG
Director, Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning
Hong Kong Baptist University

Dr Eva Wong is the Director of the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning at Hong Kong Baptist University.  Dr Wong was educated in the United Kingdom, received her first degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from University College London, and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Abertay Dundee.  In 2010, Dr Wong joined Hong Kong Baptist University and her current interests and expertise are in the enhancement of student learning through the use of engaging and learner-centred pedagogies leveraged on e-learning, in which area she has presented and published.
