Revised Accreditation Standards

Revised Accreditation Standards under the Four-stage Quality Assurance Process

The HKCAAVQ Council approved the Revised Accreditation Standards under the Four-stage Quality Assurance Process in January 2018. The revised accreditation standards will take effect for accreditation documents to be submitted after 1 April 2019.

Aligning with the revised accreditation standards, Evidence Guides for all four stages of the Four-stage QA process have been developed for Academic Accreditation and Vocational and Professional Accreditation to provide guidance to operators for the selection of appropriate evidence to demonstrate meeting the relevant accreditation standards. The Guides can be found below:

At its meeting in May 2018 the HKCAAVQ Council will consider some consequential effects of the Revised Accreditation Standards on the Four-stage QA process. Any necessary adjustments will be reflected in the Manual of the Four-stage Quality Assurance Process to be promulgated in June 2018.
