HKCAAVQ Council has initiated the search for new Executive Director

22 Sep 2017

HKCAAVQ hereby announces that with regret, Ms Dorte Kristoffersen, Executive Director, has tendered her resignation and will leave us in late January 2018.  Ms Kristoffersen’s strong leadership and contributions to HKCAAVQ in the capacity of Deputy Executive Director from 2007 and in her current capacity as Executive Director from November 2015 have earned her high regard by the past and current Council Members and staff members. The Council would like to express our deep appreciation for her dedication and outstanding leadership during her tenure.

As Ms Kristoffersen mentioned, “Since 2007, I have spent over 5 years in HKCAAVQ spread over two periods of time. They have been among the most rewarding years of my career as I have seen an agency and a self-financed sector grow in strength and a commitment to systematic quality assurance being implemented in order to assure the provision of quality education to students. I have been privileged to work with dedicated and hard-working colleagues who share a passion for quality education and I have been fortunate to enjoy the full support from the HKCAAVQ Council. I am grateful for this opportunity.”

The Council’s Search and Selection Committee, chaired by the Council Chairman, has initiated the search process for a new Executive Director.
