HKCAAVQ speaks at Chartered Management Institute Roundtable

Executive Director of HKCAAVQ, Mr Albert Chow, was invited as one of the VIP guests to speak at the Roundtable for Companions and seasoned Fellows of the Chartered Management Institute Hong Kong (CMI) by the CMI. Kicked off by Dr John Cho-chak Chan, GBS CBE LVO JP CCMI, Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of Transport International Holdings Limited, the event, which was themed 21st Century Leaders: Building Employability Through Higher Education - An Asia Pacific Perspective, took place on 11 April, 2019 (Thursday) at Happy Valley Racecourse, Hong Kong.  

At the event, Dr Ann Francke, Chief Executive Officer of CMI, gave an opening remarks and introduced Mr David Jones, Managing Director (Asia Pacific) of CMI. Mr Jones then shared his insights into a latest research of the topic jointly conducted by CMI.  In response, Mr Chow shared with the guests his experience and observations drawn from the perspectives of professional recognition, international recognition and out-of-jurisdiction reciprocal recognition, as well as the particular interplay between quality assurance and professional accreditation in the international community of quality assurance bodies.

The event was attended by leading figures from various business sectors and higher education institutions, who seized the opportunity to exchange views about the employers’ and institutions’ perspectives, and the way forward.
