The Graduation Ceremony of Caritas Institute of Community Education (CICE) was held at the Community Hall, Caritas Social Centre on 4 July, 2019 (Thursday), as graduates of full-time courses celebrated completion of their studies at CICE. Executive Director of HKCAAVQ, Mr Albert Chow, was the officiating guest of the ceremony, whose speech was particularly inspiring and encouraging for over 250 CICE graduates who attended the event with their families and friends. Also attending the ceremony were Rev Joseph T L Yim, Chief Executive of Caritas – Hong Kong; Dr Patrick Fung, Head of Community Education Service of Caritas; and Mr Leo Hung, Principal of CICE.

As one of the pioneers in promoting lifelong learning, Caritas Hong Kong has been providing community and post-secondary education service since 1963. It has now developed as one of the largest educational providers, with a school network across Hong Kong districts serving about 30,000 enrolments annually.

Caritas Institute of Community Education (CICE), as a self-financing academic institute, offers a range of full-time Higher Diplomas programmes in Health and Community Care and Early Childhood Education,  as well as other diverse learning programmes at Diploma and Certificate levels. These programmes are grounded on the community needs and emphasise students’ career prospects and knowledge-based skill applications, aimed at preparing students for serving the community.
