HKCAAVQ invited to speak at online forum on qualifications assessment

17 Aug 2020

The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) was invited to speak at the online information forum on qualifications assessment, hosted by the China Education Exchange (Hong Kong) Centre, on 17 August 2020.

Mr Andrew Ho, Head and Senior Registrar of the Qualifications Assessment (QA) Unit of the HKCAAVQ, by invitation, gave an overview of HKCAAVQ’s scope of work in underpinning the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) to attending students. Mr Ho introduced HKCAAVQ’s qualifications assessment services, as well as sharing the Unit’s observations on frequently asked questions such as assessment criteria, factors of consideration and assessment procedures of qualifications obtained from Mainland China.

The online forum was attended by over 110 students, who are mainly Hong Kong students currently studying in Mainland China, and intending to return to Hong Kong and obtain the qualifications assessment service upon completion of their studies.
