Date:
2010.08.19 - 2010.08.20
*For operators of learning programmes leading to local awards only.
The interactive workshop is a free service to operators who plan to seek accreditation services from the HKCAAVQ for learning programmes leading to local awards. Participants are introduced to the accreditation process, the accreditation criteria, standards and required evidence for the purpose of making preparation for the Initial Evaluation (IE) and Programme Validation (PV) under the Four-stage Quality Assurance Process that underpins the Qualifications Framework (QF). Tailor-made workshops are offered to operators seeking other accreditation services and will be arranged upon negotiation of the Service Agreement.

· state the accreditation requirements of IE and PV
· self-evaluate one’s readiness for undergoing IE and PV
· state the key characteristics of learning outcomes at different QF levels
· source appropriate evidence to substantiate that the operator undergoing IE and the learning programme(s) undergoing PV meet the required accreditation standards
· prepare self-evaluative accreditation document(s)
· formulate operational plan for seeking the HKCAAVQ’s accreditation services, including but not limited to the preparation of on-site visit
