Discussion on Transnational Education with Asia-Pacific Quality Assurance Agencies and Higher Education Sector

Ms Julianne Wong, Head and Senior Registrar of the Division of Academic Accreditation of the HKCAAVQ, and Ms Clara Chong, Registrar, presented the transnational education’s situation in Hong Kong in the theoretical and implementation perspectives in front of the nearly 500 delegates from the higher education and quality assurance sector in the Asia-Pacific Region during the 3-day conference held in Bangkok, Thailand in early March. Vigorous discussion in the topic took place in this year’s Asia Pacific Quality Network Conference, which provided a good opportunity for agencies, institutions and authorities to gain better understanding of the development in higher education in countries and areas within the region.
